Photography Studio Hire in East London

A flexible photography studio in East London

Studio Monox is a 485 sq ft photography studio in East London, designed to be simple to use and flexible enough for different kinds of shoots.

The studio has large east-facing windows for natural daylight, with blackout blinds when you need full control over the light. You can work with daylight, use the studio lighting provided, or bring your own equipment and build the setup you need.

Whether you're shooting a fashion editorial, e-commerce collection, lookbook, portraits, model digitals or a commercial campaign, the space can be adapted around the production rather than forcing your shoot into a fixed setup.

The studio is available 7 days a week, from 9am to 8pm, with bookings made online.

What can you shoot at Studio Monox?

The studio is used for a wide range of photography and creative productions, including:

Fashion photography

A practical space for fashion editorials, tests, model shoots, lookbooks and portfolio work. The combination of daylight, blackout and studio lighting gives you different ways to approach the same space.

E-commerce & product photography

The studio can be set up for clean product photography, modelled e-commerce, catalogue images and smaller product campaigns.

Editorial photography

Use the daylight, backdrops and available equipment to create more considered editorial work, from simple portraits to full fashion stories.

Portraits & headshots

The studio can be configured for individual portraits, headshots, creative portraits and model tests.

Brand campaigns & commercial photography

For independent brands and smaller commercial productions, the studio provides a straightforward space for campaign images, website content and social assets.

Content creation

A flexible studio for creating photography and video content for social media, websites, launches and ongoing brand content.

Lookbooks & model digitals

The studio is also suitable for lookbooks, agency tests, model digitals and portfolio updates.

Not sure how you want to use the space? That's fine. The studio is designed to give you enough flexibility to decide the setup when you arrive.

Daylight when you want it. Blackout when you don't.

One of the advantages of Studio Monox is being able to change the character of the space without changing studios.

The east-facing windows provide natural daylight, while the blackout blinds allow you to control or remove the daylight when you want a more controlled lighting setup.

You can keep things simple with daylight, use the included studio lighting, or combine both.

Who can hire the studio?

You don't need to be working on a large production to hire the studio. The space works just as well for a two-hour test shoot as it does for a full-day commercial production.

Bring your own team, equipment and ideas, or keep the production simple and use what is already available in the studio.

Why hire a photography studio in East London?

Choosing a studio isn't only about the size of the room or the amount of equipment available.

For many shoots, being able to get in quickly, set up without complications and change the lighting during the day matters more.

Studio Monox is designed around that idea: a straightforward space that gives you options without making the production more complicated than it needs to be.

You have daylight when you want it, blackout when you need it, basic lighting already available, space for a small team and a location that's easy to reach by public transport.

And because the studio is available by the hour, you don't necessarily need to commit to a full day for a short shoot.

Natural light when you want it. Blackout when you need it.
